Record some of your own sending then listen to it about a week later.
When I first started with a bug I just could not believe my fist was so
bad so I put effort into slower and smooth sending.
Later hams were asking me what type of keyer I was using.
BTW,as a Novice I was able to copy 27-30 WPM.
No software,no CD's no comuter junk,just good time behind my rig where I
had to copy good and bad sending,and put up with QRN,QRM,QRPp but I stuck
with it and i'm now shooting for 40 WPM again
