Hello Mark.

After reviewing some pictures, I believe

your MacKey is indeed a 1939.

In the 1939 model the "dot stabilizer" was remove

and a circuit closer was also added.

In the link below look carefully at the 1938 model and

the 1939 and notice the distance the top bearing adjustment

nut is from the T bar. It looks like the 1939 model

is closer to the T bar than the 1938.

I have a 1939 Deluxe and looks identical to the one pictured.

Nevertheless, it's a nice bug to use.
