Hello Pete, W1SLP <petedavis at metrocast.net>
Perkins is a wonderful school - I know several hams who were there around
that time. I hope someone has a copy of "73" magazine page 89 August 1970
so you can get a copy of the article of the Perkins Amateur Radio Club.
Also if any of the list members are visually impaired or blind - or have
friends or family who are - they very well might be interested in a
beautiful new Linux distribution called "VINUX"
It has both a screen reader and magnifier - the screen reader works both in
console (think the old DOS screen) and in X Windows (graphical interface -
like Windows or Mac has).
Here is the link: http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=vinux
This distro is completely free to use and is not for sale at all. It's
free!
Disclaimer: I am a member of the development team of Vinux.
