[CW] Use of AR

We always used AR at the end of transmitting a MSG or QTC...

Preamble =

Address =

Body of message=

Signature

AR  ( Terminating Signal)



Then send the Invitation to transmit to see if the receiving operator will QSL.

and that was how it was done in the British Commonwealth ships...

However it really doesnt mean much in todays world of Internet anything goes comms....

I don't like to hear ops using KN on the ham bands in public open ham radio conversations, as it then means,  we are only talking to each other and do not want to
hear from anyone else. "Keep Out"  ...
