Hi DR

No special Danish abbreviations for Good Bye that I know of - but they may exist/have existed. Danes say "Vi ses" (CU) or "Vi tales ved" roughly "We'll (continue our conversation/ talk again (later)" or "på genhoe(ø)r" which liteally means
"aufwiederhoe(ö)ren" but no special CW abbreviations that I know of - I could check it out for you - there may be some that have gone out of general use (I cud imagine FV for "farvel" or PG for "genh..) or were used exclusively by the military or other special services. I cud ask my son who knows about Danish army CW and others I know who were Danish naval and commercial ops.
General informal goodbye on phone here is "Hej Hej" (Hi Hi).

HM (aka Henry)

  So Henry,

How do you abbreviate Good Bye in Dane? Are there other Danish abreviations we can use to make the OZ / OX / OY gang happy?

Well Joe, of course I considered 'aufwiederhören,' but that's getting nitty
picky - and besides why use 4 letters instead of 3 ?
(Maybe if you peek inside your transceiver you might SEE a litte elf hiding
    between the circuit boards.)
My comments about possible abbreviations were meant tongue in cheek (TIC)
in response to "BTW" "ASAMOF" and the like.
So I wont ask you to RSVP ASAP either.
CU --oops, I mean HU (Hear You)
