[CW] Sidetone frequency versus transmit frequency

I love HB's comments about the old ears of a radioman - it seems many
of us finally ended up with ears that rung with peculiar tones - mine
came in by the age of 55.
I worked K0HB from N1ZIZ the local Plymouth MA club's Field Day call
sign on 20 meters - he had a loud signal as usual.
My comments to the nearby CW operators is that when you have K0HB on
the air, you have to use extra filters because K0HB has a signal
typical of excellent radio operators and DXers - he knows how to put
out a BIG signal - often 20 or 30 dB stronger than "mere mortal" radio
amateurs!
I worked two Hawai'i stations during FD on 20 meters and 40 meters,
and two Alaska stations on 20 meters, but only one on 40 meters.
I worked every state except MS, NV, ND, and ID (but heard MS and ID
but couldn't work them). I heard Puerto Rico (PR) but not Virgin
Islands (VI) and worked neither. VT and RI are difficult to work
even from W1 but I worked them on 80 meters! So 46 states and just
shy of 600 contacts were good for this old Sparks! I had 598 contacts
and I kept tuning the band for "new ones" but never found many after
about 1000 local time - I guess I should have called CQ at least once,
but I didn't. We were on battery power so pouncing on CQs was more
the style for battery.
K6KB what was the call you were using? Was it a club call?
