[CW] Shades and shards of 80 CW

The person Vern was talking about is me. The sole reason for my inactivity
is a very simple one: Where I currently reside, there is NO chance to get an
antenna in the air. Given that situation, I am stuck with mobile operation,
which is not handy at all, or with just 2M, which is not worth it to me,
frankly. So, just to be sure my fist has not gone rusty, I copy code on the
computer. I also practice sending, using my nice collection of keys. In this
way, I can be sure that if I have a chance to operate (most likely with
someone else's gear at their location), I will be the same CW op I have been
for the past 61 years as a ham. I have not renewed, and will not renew,
memberships I have had in major ham fraternities. If things were different,
I would be on the air every day if possible, since I know my old friends are
still on there. I hope to work many of you in the future. At this stage I
will be content to ragchew. Please refrain from suggesting antennas that
might work. Trust me, I have explored this ad nauseum. My health is pretty
good too. 73 to all,
Fred Adsit, NY2V, Weedsport, NY
NY2V was luck of the draw, not a vanity call.
My profile is on eHam.net.
