[CW] methods to increase code copying speed

Bill,

The short answer is to practice.  Do lots of listening....have some good 
ragchews....don't be afraid of making mistakes or missing words, etc.  As 
far as priorities in learning to copy fast CW, closely following practice is 
do not copy on paper what you are hearing.  This is one of the most 
difficult crutches to get rid of, so as soon as you can, begin making one or 
two word notes to remind you what the other station has just said.  (The 
older I get, the more important these notes become, hi.)

That's my take on it....

I'm sure others will have some very worthy advice.
