[CW] 40m QRN

Hello David!

yes, will see what 6 months of being off the bands has done to activity.
Heard several good signals on 80m from 0400z and after on the 1/4 wave
vertical.

40m, aside from noise, had a lot of deep (s9 swings) fading. I guess wasn't
off the rig long enough for the new cycle to take root. I will see what goes
early tomorrow morning (Monday). I oped mostly before 6am local and usually
kept busy chatting in the early mornings.

Tnx for info. Hope to catch you on 40m or 80m.

Merry Christmas!

Ken, KA0W

I heard you on a little while ago, Ken you had your usual big signal.
40 meters stinks. I go there, call CQ for a couple of hours, get
bored with no answers and finally end up reading a book.
