I have often thought it would be fun to have some sort of reader to copy 
those extremely fast guys just to see if they have anything interesting 
to say. I can copy a really good fist at 35 wpm on a good day, planets 
aligned and all that.

What I would need would be something that could either buffer a lot of 
characters or send it to the computer (which has never been married to a 
radio before) so I could get the whole thing.

So what kind of reader do you suppose could do that? A friend here in 
Lincoln got the MFJ thing that you either put by the speaker or in line 
with the speaker. It needs some very good code to work right. I don't 
think he uses it any more, as it is sort of flakey unless everything is 
perfect.

I'll never actually do it unless there is some freeware program or 
something, and maybe not then, but I'm curious.
