I totally agree.  The BoD minutes are extremely important to be preserved in 
written form external to the archives of the ARRL.

I am writing my director today.  Will everyone join me in making their 
view - either way - known?

This is one reason I think the BoD minutes belong in QST. I can easily look
at BoD minutes from 40 years ago. Will the hams of 2045 be able to do the 
same?
