[CW] Upcoming Sprints

Fellow radio amateurs,

Just a reminder that amidst all the Summer vacationing, picnicking, 
bar-be-queuing, fishing and general summer merriment we have two QRP 
Sprints coming real soon!

The first will be held the evening of July 17 (Monday morning July18th 
UTC time).  This is the monthly "Run For The Bacon" which is sponsored 
by The Flying Pigs QRP Club International.  This Sprint is open to all 
radio amateurs.  It is a two hour event lasting from 9:00 to 11:00 PM 
EDT Sunday night or 0100 to 0300 UTC Monday morning - however you want 
to look at it.

Right now the details are still there for last month's RFTB; but that 
will change soon.

The second event will be held Wednesday night July 20th from 8:30 to 
10:30 PM EDT or from the UTC perspective, Thursday morning July 21st 
from 0030 to 0230 UTC.  This is the monthly NAQCC 80/40 Meter Sprint.

certificate will be awarded to the operator scoring the highest from a 
truly portable station - away from your house or apartment suing 
emergency power and portable antennas.

Further reminders will be posted a day or two before the events - please 
keep them on your schedules and in the back of your minds.
