Hi, Mike
I used to feel the same way about my Heathkit MicroMatic keyer.
When I lost it (long story), I felt as though I'd lost a good friend.
Since Heath is out of business, I had no choice but to go to paddles.
I went through several, and finally settled on the Bencher BY-2,
but it never seemed as smooth as the MicroMatic. Although I've
become quite proficient on the BY-2, I still sometimes dream of
having my old friend back.
Based on your comments, then, I think I'll try one.
Which model did you get, one with the keyer, or one without it?
I kind of like the looks of the TT1, but the paddles are horizontal
instead of vertical like my old Heath keyer.
