[CW] touch keyer experience

I decided to try the touch keyer from cwtouchkeyer.com. The Sears &
Roebuck-type 'satisfaction guaranteed' money back offer loomed in my mind.
"What does a paddle with no moving parts feel like?" I wondered. The 5-50wpm
speed listed on the website for the paddle gave me a lot of room for
improvement (18wpm here).

I began practicing while sitting in front of the TV, sending letters and
numbers from home shopping, business data, and off-track betting channels
(using headset into keyer). In very little time I went from many errors with
the touch paddle to smooth readable code. I quickly developed a 'touch' for
the paddles. Now my sending speed is significantly more than my copying speed
(but working on that with mp3 player).

Unexpectedly, I now prefer the touch paddles to my existing paddle (Kent
dual.) I'm interested to know if any of you have had a similar experience
with touch vs. mechanical.
