[CW] Free Ham License for Commercial Licensees

Anyway, I'd only entertain giving Amateur privledges to holders of 2nd class
telegraph licenses and higher. The test is probably the most difficult test
of any of the FCC tests given, commercial and amateur.

They have schools that give a "one day" GROL (radiotelephone) license, I
don't think we should honor that type of quality.

Dave N1EA,

I have always respected your opinions...

But, giving someone a automatic ham license just because
they held a commerical license may lead to problems.

The rules and regs of amatuer radio are different for that
of a commerical radio telegrapher... (yes, I know you know...)

Shouldn't they be subject to testing on the amateur rules
and regs ?

As you know..commerical ops have to ID every 15 min
not 10 like hams... and so on.

Just a thought.
