The spacing of the paddles is the same as the spacing of Bencher and several
other popular keys.
I use mine with the external keyer in the transmitter. Even my ICOM 756PRO
stops at 50 wpm - but that's my sending limit with a keyer.

Looks OK...nothing to rave about though...and why for goodness sake is it
designed for 39 wpm max? He says for the High Speed CW operator? Maybe
that was a typo? I can't tell for sure but from the picture it looks like
the paddles
are pretty far apart...are they?
