Even when surfing the FCC's many helpful pages, you will find that sometimes
the information is out of date, or simplified.

You have to go to the the RULES section and check the information out.  You
can get to the rules section by going to FCC - then ULS - then SUPPORT -
then RULES (on the left side in a column).

>From there you will be sent to a list of FCC Parts that you will need to
check:  Part 80 is Marine Radio, Part 13 is Commerical Radio Licenses, Part
97 is Amateur Radio etc.
