[CW] Passing code tests Navy Radioman "A" School

Folks, 

On the subject of code tests, here's what I was told by a USN radioman was 
the "A" school code test circa 1958:

Copy 24 wpm (on a mill) in code groups of 5 characters. Test lasts one hour. 
No more than 3 errors to pass. 

Anyone confirm this? 24 wpm at 5 characters per word is 120 per minute or 
7200 per hour. 3 mistakes in 7200 is a bit more than .04% errors.

Now that's a test....
