[CW] Why I like CW

     CW is fun. The challenge of competing against yourself. Trying to send
more accurately and faster. Always pushing yourself. The faster I go in
receiving and transmitting the more I push myself.
     I got out of ham radio for 20 years due to family commitments and just
started back. Upon my arrival back on the scene I could not copy 13 wpm.
Listening to W1AW faithfully for the past 6 months I am able to copy with no
problem at 20 wpm. Is that good enough? No. I am now trying to copy at 25
wpm and can get about 50% of the text but I know that within another month
Ill be copying the speed at 100%. Then I will move to 30 wpm.
     Why do I post this? Well it is just like anything else. If you have a
goal and are motivated, one can accomplish what one sets out to do. The more
speed I am able to send and receive the more I enjoy this mode. That is what
I wanted to share on this reflector.
