I thought I would post a list of the Quarter Century Wireless Association
(QCWA) and the Society of Wireless Pioneers (SOWP) nets here.
I mention this here because some of these men and women are simply AMAZING
operators. One of them, K2IC, Earl Korf, is 100 years old and still able to
swing a Vibroplex at 35+ wpm.
The QCWA is open to people who were licensed in radio (amateur or
commercial) at least 25 years ago.
The SOWP is open to membership to people employed as professional radio
operators, military or commercial. The SOWP also has associate membership
available to those interested in radio history.
They both publish interesting publications with some unique historical
articles.
For those "up to speed" - join in. To those who want to hear a really GOOD
net - listen in.
Here is the list.
