I remember while working at Tuckerton (NJ) Radio, WSC that I'd listen to the
chatter in the wire room - someone would be having an animated conversation,
and I'd go "Mmmmm" or smile, when they said "Ask David if I'm telling the
truth..."

I would be paying 100% attention to what they were saying (trying to get the
"good" parts...but at the same time having a ship send to me some long
message.

My fingers would just type without any seeming effort.

I could only do this at around 30 wpm, if the copy was faster, I'd have to
put both "cans" on the ears and concentrate on the code - 'cause this guy
was smoking his bug!

Plus the excitement of some high speed work is probably the most exciting
things in the world, except for kissing a sexy YL operator!
