It's something with your software. I'm the one who sets the parameters, and
I HATE the setting that sends all messages to the reflector as the primary
recipient-mostly because 3X as many intended-to-be-private messages get
sent to the reflector INSTEAD of their actually-intended recipient. NONE of
the reflectors I run are set to "Reply-To-Group". THIS message was
accomplished simply hitting my Reply-To-All button on EUDORA.
By the way, I quit using OUTLOOK several years ago after losing ALL my
email for yet-another time (when the supposed "BACKUP" wasn't legitimate,
and wouldn't load.) This is via EUDORA <http://www.eudora.com/>. It has
specific files for each mailbox you set up, and you can back THOSE up-as
opposed to the total backup required by OUTLOOK.
There's another big plus with EUDORA. You can get SPAMNIX software
<http://www.spamnix.com/> that installs into EUDORA and blocks ~ 95% of
SPAM (moving it into its own mailbox that lets you review it to be sure
contains no misguided 'good' messages. This is so-o-o much faster and
easier than nailing them one at a time-and is more versatile than using the
FILTER function. BOTH programs have a try-before-you-buy feature... and in
EUDORA's case, you can just keep the small ad panel and never pay. I have
registered them both, and wouldn't go back to OUTLOOK for anything.
