You know Fred, without being judgemental about either the R-3A or the
Hensley, you do bring up a very important point. There is in fact a "cool"
factor in regards to what we prefer. I am a bug man myself and at one time
an absolute Vibroplex purist. However, when, I won't mention the bug name
other than to call it "Brand X," came along, I became hooked on Brand X. I
believe that Brand X is totally superior to Vibroplex, although VERY
expensive. The most appealing part of Brand X to me, apart from the fact
that it works so well in my opinion, is in fact the "cool" factor you
mention. I am about to plunk down even more money for another Brand X that
has the ultimate cool to me. There is no logic associated with my decision
to buy. This bug is just flat cool and I have to have one.

Now, I would suspect that if one should operate both a Hensley and an R-3A,
one's judgement, associated with one's own "cool" factor value system, would
have a lot to do with one's belief on which is the better unit. In other
words much has to to with emotion and our own set of values.
