Fred,=20
Take it easy there guy! I only made the comment about my Hensley paddles =
to
say they are worth that much to me. I certainly did not pay that much =
for
them and would never pay more than $300 for any set of paddles. Yes I =
will
be keeping both I use the March for my FT-990 and the Hensley for my =
other
rig. I use the $15 Whiterook MK-44 more than either set in my mobile. I
agree the March paddles are great, I would not still have this set, =
which I
have had for about 6 years now, if they were not. I am a big fan of =
magnetic
paddles, the only way to go. Just wish I could find an inexpensive set =
that
would work in a small space like my mobile.

We all have our preferences. An old hand key went on eBay=20
yesterday for almost $1300.=20
If the Hensley is so great, why would you ever want to sell it?=20
And face it, Mike doesn't sell paddles for a GRAND.=20
You're trolling, IMO. I am SURE there are even better keys=20
than a Hensley. For a price to match what some percieve=20
to be "better". You just felt you HAD to comment on this one.
Mike will have sold all eight keys next Saturday,=20
and that's the end of that.=20
The new owners will be happy, and won't have spent $1,000.=20
Some would not like his paddles. Fine.=20
Now that we all know we have our personal preferences=20
and have paid for them, and now that those who have=20
asked know more about March paddles and Hensleys,=20
we can change to another topic. (I certainly HOPE).
Best regards, and may you find something to be happy about.=20
I think a pair of Hensleys will do the trick -- for you, sir.=20
Am glad you found paddles you personally like=20
and can foot the bill!=20
And oh yes -- why are you keeping the R-3A??????
You "love" it. REALLY? If you are tired of reading about
this, switch to somewhere else. I'll stand my ground.
If I could afford a Hensley, I MIGHT buy one, but if the
R-3A suits me so well, why would I? Because it is "cool"?
On my retirement budget, I am thrilled to own a March...
This thread was not meant to be a contest among keys
in different price ranges. You're the one who just did
that, not David and myself. I simply suggested folks
take a look at those 8 great paddles, and David had
some questions about them. I also was very careful to
explain about any negatives as well as positives. In NO
case did I declare the March the best paddle there is...
