Not wanting to start any kind of political range-war, but given the
Commission's actions today regarding Media Ownership, it's obvious to me
that Ham Radio doesn't have the financial guns to fight PLC in this country,
"Fund for the Defense of Amateur Radio" notwithstanding.

If Big Business wants to communicate over powerlines, or try to sell
broadband digital access over the same routes, they'll stuff money in the
re-election chests of whoever can deliver that result.
