McElroy Chrome "Deluxe Stream" Straight key
It says "Radio-Telegraph Key - Deluxe Model -
Stream.Mac" on a label on one side. The other
side has a label that says "Manufactured by
T.R. McElroy, Boston, Mass. USA". It has a
"tear drop" shaped base (sort of an oval, but
elongated). It has a shorting switch included,
and a navy knob, and is on a very heavy metal
base plate (possible brass, but I am not sure),
with a felt pad on the bottom. It has very nice
action. It may be that the key was one item,
and it was mounted on the heavy metal base
plate by a user. It also has a rubber covered
cord on it, terminated in a real military type
PL-055 B, brass, 1/4 inch plug.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be worth?
I have searched the internet, and find the regular
McElroy "Stream Key", but not the deluxe chrome
model. This one is for sale, but I do not know
what I should ask for it. Any Help?
Thanks.
