I have had an 840 with the stock Yaesu CW filter, and I own other radios
with
stock Yeasu filters, but if I had a choice I would pick INRAD filters, and
would
pick the 500 kHz INRAD filter. Some complain of ringing with the 250 kHz
filters,
I have two Yaesu ones, but don't hear the ringing with them. INRAD filters
tend
to be a little more expensive than the Yaesu ones, and sometimes the Yaesu
ones
can be found used (which I did) for about half the price of the new INRADs.
