There are a couple of other organizations with an large voice. The
ones I know of are W5YI VEC (Fed Maia) and NCI (No Code International). 
Both support a no effort license
structure. By bailing out from the ARRL you are letting the voices of
those anti-code organizations become relatively stronger. Sure the ARRL
is not perfect. Nevertheless they are the best we've got. Let's all
write letters to our ARRL Directors, similar to N3DRK's, to tell them
where we stand, and make it clear how we want them to represent us. Just
leave off the "cancelled my membership" part, so we still have a voice.
