Fw: [CW] ARRL stand on CW testing?

Oh, in my opinion he is WRONG! But I never, in all my years as an ARRL
member have thought they are perfect. In fact, I find many faults with them.
If there was another organization that had as large a voice, I would at
least give them a try.
But to leave us with no voice at all is very dangerous. I have seen many
good things that the ARRL has done, and yes, a lot I am not proud of. And
too many of the elected officials that -WE- put in office have really let us
down. But still, 200,000 voices are much stronger than my single voice. I
will stay with them until something better comes along, work to elect better
officials, and yes, gripe like H____ when I don't like what they do. I have
that right while I am still a member.
We are told that "united we stand, divided we fall". Our enemies would just
love to divide us. We must not let that happen. If not the ARRL, than
something better. But let us not become so divided that we are weakened.
