I remember the 'old timers' back then complaining that giving Novices
VFO's would surely end the hobby as they knew it.

I guess this hobby does (and should) evolve.

Besides, if we don't spend more of this energy fighting
BPL, this discussion would be rather moot, wouldn't you
agree?
