Before I found out about these nice non-slip 'rubber' pads you can get by
the roll-inexpensively-at Home Depot & Walmart, I used ordinary office-type
rubber cement. Does a great job, doesn't remove-or otherwise harm-any
paint/etc. from the desktop, rubs right off if you want to move the key-or
use another-and is pretty cheap.
The non-slip pads work just about as well, but do allow moving the key
around a bit more easily.
