[CW] Can anybody help me decode CW with a pc

Hi Guys

I wonder if anybody can help me. I'm wanting to decode cw using my
computer, but sound cards never really work well. Has anybody build a cw
decoder using a pll chip with a program written in qbasic or something
to decode the signals. I have seen one about 4 years ago in a Mag but I
cannot remember which mag it was.
