[CW] J-47 questions

Hello:

I respond to your question as follows:

This J-47 is the clone of the J-37 general purpose keys which were =
commonplace; they're not exotic nor rare at all. I won't quote a price =
for it but the price for this commonplace key should not be too high. =
I've never figured out how price considerations relate to things like =
unopened keys in sealed packages. I, for one, have posessed here a 1944 =
J-47 in a sealed bag within its original box and haven't opened it. From =
time to time, I feel tempted to expose to light an item that's been =
shielded from our sun for almost 70 years! For strange reasons, though, =
I've refrained from opening that sealed bag, thinking that exposing its =
contents to fresh air and sun light will somehow break some kind of =
spell, ahhh!. Even though I don't have any plans to sell this key (nor =
for that matter, any one of my priced Morse Code possessions) I surmise =
you're better off leaving the key in its untouched seclusion in that =
tightly sealed bag unless your curiosity and your lack of ambition =
predominate...This is the kind of choice all of us collectors face all =
the time...All the time...As Jack Nickolson as The Joker in that fabled =
Batman movie used to muse with that amusingly muted kind of amusement: =
"So little time and so many....(keys)...!

Quien conozca un pasatiempo m=E1s fascinante que el nuestro, pues que lo =
disfrute; yo me quedo con este...
