I couldn't agree more, very well said!.

 Eleanor Rooseveldt said "Nothing worth having ever comes easily" and CW is
no exception.   If it wasn't for the code, my radios would have been sold
long ago, and I'd be on 2400 MHz using a cellphone.

Unfortunately, commercial pressure means that our "elected" representatives
don't entirely have our best interests at heart.     Inevitable in a
money-driven society, whether it be the IARU or a national or state
government.

I'm glad that some people are still trying to stem the tide, but I fear
it's too late.   The world demands instant gratification!
