Hey Dan,=0D
=0D
There was an article in QST a few years back for an MCW keyer=0D
that plugged into a HT.=0D
=0D
The circuit used a 555 timer and was designed for an=0D
HTX-202 or Icom type mic circuit.=0D
=0D
We used them on a 2-meter simplex freq for CW training=0D
and it worked well.=0D
=0D
I will see if I can dig up a copy of the schematic.=0D
=0D
Will email you if I find it.=0D

Subject: [CW] Modulated CW Circuits?=0D
=0D
Hi folks,=0D
=0D
I think this is my first post to this list.=0D
=0D
Mike n9jiy wrote an article about a keyer for MCW in the last issue of th=
e =0D
Keynote, FISTS Newsletter. I use a straight key so am not interested in t=
he =0D
keyer but am interested in Modulated CW.=0D
=0D
Can anyone point me to a website or other resource for a circuit(s) I can=
=0D
plug into my 2 M HTs and run MCW? I did a websearch and didn't find anyth=
ing
=0D
but that probably reflects my search skills, not reality! (Mike doesn't h=
ave
=0D
an e-mail address publicized as far as I know so couldn't contact him =0D
directly that way.)=0D
=0D
Thanks in advance.=0D
=0D
