[CW] Question Regarding Bunnell Sideswiper

Tony and others:

Here are 3 JPGs which illustrate the bevelled type base on my Bunnell 
Sideswiper.   The first shows a comparison with the base on my Bunnell Gold 
Bug, the second shows the base on the Sideswiper, and the third JPG 
illustrates the difference in size of the two units.

My picture program shows these photos as being a bit dark, but it may not be 
set correctly.     As viewed on my digital camera, the pictures seem natural.

I am still trying to determine the vintage of my Sideswiper.    Any thoughts?
