[CW] sideswiper question.

Sideswipers aren't necessarily better, just different. A sideswiper is a
key which operates from side to side. Pushing either way makes solid
contact, just like a straight key. One advantage over a straight key is
that motions from side to side are less tiring than the up and down motion
of a straight key. The sideswiper is operated back and forth to make
characters which makes it possible to send faster than with a straight key,
too. Neither side of a sideswiper is devoted to either dots or dashes, the
key goes from side to side to make the next element of the character.

Subject: [CW] sideswiper question.
I have been following with interest the discussion about sideswipers and
their merits compared to other keys. I am still a little confused. Do you
actually push to one side to make the dots and the other side for the
dashes? Or are you actually making the character yourself as with a
straight key? Could someone clear this up? tnx.
