[CW] sideswiper question.

I have been following with interest the discussion about sideswipers and =
their merits compared to other keys.  I am still a little confused.  Do =
you actually push to one side to make the dots and the other side for =
the dashes?  Or are you actually making the character yourself as with a =
straight key?   Could someone clear this up?  tnx.
