Not to be disrepectful, but you folks are splitting hairs.=0D
=0D
Who really cares if it is 4 motions or 3 motions ?=0D
=0D
If you can send faster with a sideswiper than an iambic=0D
paddle/keyer then use it.=0D
=0D
If more hams spent time using the bands than arguing=0D
about how many motions this key or that key uses we=0D
wouldn't be in the position of possibly losing bandspace.=0D

I just HAD to jump in. I use a Bug (a wonderful invention if I do say so=0D
myself) An 'A' is three motions. my wrist is resting on the table and I=0D
swing to the rt for the dit and swing to the left for the dash and then t=
o=0D
the rt to release there is no seperate motion to release the dit. Like wi=
se=0D
a letter libe 'B' is three motions, I swing lt for the dah and swing rt f=
or=0D
the dits and then lt to release. ad infitium.=0D
To ea his own, I like the bugs they look cool on my desk. I learned cw on=
 a=0D
bug and now into my 60's i'm not abt to change.=0D
