I ragchew with dual-lever paddles.  I'm good with them up to about 40-45 WPM,
any faster and I switch over to a dedicated CW keyboard.  And yes, I do
squeeze the characters.

In the end it all comes down to what feels best to the individual.  I can run
a single-lever paddle, but it just doesn't feel comfy to me.  User preference
also holds true for keyboarding.  I QSO a couple of QRQ guys who swear by the
Dvorak keyboard layout, but that isn't for me either.
