Wind Advisory
Statement as of 3:16 PM PDT on September 06, 2010

...Wind Advisory in effect from 2 PM Tuesday to 5 am PDT
Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory...
which is in effect from 2 PM Tuesday to 5 am PDT Wednesday.

* Timing: gusts will begin to increase late Tuesday morning and peak
   in the evening after 5 PM.

* Winds: west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Ridge gusts
   around 60 mph Tuesday afternoon increasing up to 80 mph after
   midnight.

* Impacts: motorists on north-south highways should be cautious as
   strong Crosswinds are possible...especially along Highway 395
   from Reno south into Mono County. Additionally...areas of
   blowing dust in gusty winds could reduce visibility at times.
