...Wind Advisory now in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening...

The Wind Advisory is now in effect until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* The strongest winds will initially occur over higher elevations
   and foothill areas...but winds will increase across most valleys
   by late morning.

* Winds: southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
   Locally higher gusts are likely in wind prone areas such as
   Washoe Valley and in foothills around Reno and Carson City.

* Impacts: winds will make travel difficult at times on area
   highways...especially Highway 395 through Washoe Valley. Areas
   of blowing dust may reduce visibility at times.
