[CVRC] KE7AWA Memorial Service Sunday in Silver Springs, NV

The Memorial Service for Margaret Ruckman KE7AWA will be held at 2:00 
p.m. Sunday August 9, 2009 at the Senior Center, 2945 Fort Churchill 
Road in Silver Springs, NV.

Margaret was the wife of Jack Ruckman AC6FU and they were both 
familiar faces at the Books, Etc., booth at amateur radio events 
throughout the West.  She could always be counted on for a big smile 
wherever she and Jack traveled.  Jack once told me that they ran 
their book business not for the money--they were often lucky if they 
could just break even--but because it gave them something they could 
do together.

Jack remains hospitalized at Renown Medical Center in Reno as he 
recovers from the automobile accident that took Margaret's life, but 
my understanding is that he plans to attend the memorial service.

In place of flowers donations can be made in the name of Margaret 
Ruckman at any Wells Fargo Bank.
