...Wind Advisory now in effect until 10 PM PDT this evening...

The Wind Advisory is now in effect until 10 PM PDT this evening.

Southwest winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph will
continue through this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts up to 60
mph are possible in wind prone areas...especially during the late
afternoon and early evening as a cold front passes through the
region.

Motorists...especially in high profile vehicles along Highway
395...should use caution and remain alert for sudden gusts or
cross winds. Check our website at weather.Gov/Reno or listen to
NOAA Weather Radio for updates on this situation.
