[CVRC] New Sierra Nevada Ham Radio Community

There is a new on-line discussion board for area hams that is
open for free enrollment and use to ham radio operators in the
greater Sierra Nevada region including Nevada and California.
You can go to this community and register at:
http://renohams.ffrq.com/index.php

There are areas for announcements, for-sale ads and wants,
as well as discussion areas on several subjects.  There is
also a set-aside area for Emcommwest-08 discussions.  You
can send private messages to other board members as well.
The neat part is that it's all FREE as a service to the region's
ham radio community.  It's an interesting place for area hams
to meet on-line and exchange information, find solutions to
problems, answers to questions, sell your gear of find an item
you are looking for.

Register with your amateur radio call sign in UPPER CASE 
and the password of your choice.  You will be notified by
e-mail once that is approved.  Read through the guidelines
in the "new member" area and you'l be all set.  Please contact
me with any questions you may have.
