...High Wind WARNING remains in effect until 10 PM PDT this
evening...

A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 10 PM PDT this
evening.

Southwest winds of 30 to 45 mph will continue through this
evening. Gusts of 70 to 80 mph or higher will occur...especially
in the higher elevations and in wind prone of western Nevada such
as Washoe Valley...Galena...and Carson Valley. Winds will gust to
100 mph over the Sierra ridges. The worst of the winds will
likely be through 8 PM PDT.

Damage to trees...power lines and property could occur with winds
of this magnitude. This is a serious situation! Travel will be
difficult especially on highways 50...395 and Interstate 80 due to
strong cross winds and areas of blowing dust. Travel is
discouraged for those in high profile vehicles.
