Tuesday evening...

A high wind watch remains in effect from Tuesday morning through
Tuesday evening.

Strong winds ahead of a cold front on Tuesday will affect the
northern Sierra and western Nevada. South to southwest winds of
25 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph are possible Tuesday.

Driving may become difficult Tuesday...especially along east-west
routes such as Interstate 80. Be sure to secure items such as
outdoor furniture if they cannot be brought indoors.

A high wind watch means there is potential for strong damaging
