[CVRC] DCART net 6:30PM 25Sep06Monday night

Hi all!

Just a reminder that the DCART net will be Monday night (25Sep06) at 
1830L on the 147.27+ and 441.250+ (both pl 123) repeater.

The net script (freshly revised) is available at 
http://nv.arrl.org/clubs/DCART/netscript.html. This week net control 
duties will be ably handled by Jo Ann Paul N7MBM.

The net format is changing a little. This week we will begin 
presenting the contents of the ICS-100 course. Each week we will 
present a lesson (or part of a lesson) until all of the class 
material has been covered. When we have completed the ICS-100 
material, those who have participated in all of the net sessions 
should have no trouble passing the on-line ICS-100 test and become 
certified. After we complete the ICS-100 material, we will continue 
with the ICS-200 material.

Also, the net checkin format has changed a little. When you check in, 
please a question from tonights lesson if there is something you are 
unsure about or provide an answer to a question that someone before 
you has asked.

The ICS "FOG", ICS 420-1 Field Operations Guide is an excellent 
reference book for this and other ICS issues. We have distributed a 
few copies in the past at DCART meetings. We will attempt to identify 
a source of additional copies for those who would like a copy.

Note that we have a change to the standard DCART frequencies. In the 
event that the W7DI repeater is down during a callup, we will use the 
repeater output frequency, 147.27 as a simplex channel.
