Special Weather Statement
444 am PST sun Nov 26 2006

...Snow possible for the Monday morning commute in western Nevada
with much colder weather through the upcoming week...

A low pressure system and cold front will move across western Nevada
tonight with snow levels lowering to the valley floor. An inch or
two of snow may accumulate on streets and Highways over portions
of western Nevada Monday morning. The combination of slippery
roads and reduced visibility associated with this snow will
produce difficult driving conditions for the Monday morning
commute across Reno and Sparks...and points eastward along
Interstate 80. From Carson City eastward along Highway 50...and
southward into Mineral and Lyon counties...lighter snowfall
amounts are expected to occur mainly after the time of peak
traffic volume.

Unseasonably cold weather is expected across western Nevada through
the upcoming week with high temperatures only in the 30s. Low
temperatures in the teens are expected in urban areas with single
digits in the colder outlying areas.

Expires:270000 gmt
