This is to introduce the ECNV ham radio regional e-mail swap list.
The list is for 'regional' coverage of be Northern Nevada, Northern
California, Southern Oregon and Southern Idaho. That way it is
more practical than a nationwide net since it also allows someone
the ability to travel a reasonable distance to pick up material for
deals made within the area. Of course, small items can be shipped
for a lesser amount due to most everything being within one or two
days shipping time.
The rules are pretty simple and are as follows:
1. Listings are for amateur radio and electronic equipment related
to ham radio including computer items. Notices for swap meets
by clubs and organizations are acceptable.
2. Since this is a 'free' service, listings that link to ads on eBay or
other sources are not allowed. Links to personal web pages
for material lists are OK.
3. Commercial ads may be considered but, must be approved by
the list owner in advance.
4. Posting subject line descriptions should be entered as follows:
FS: (Items for sale)
FS/T: (Items for sale or trade)
WTB: (Items wanted to buy)
WTT: (Items wanted to trade)
5. Items for sale should include as complete a description as you
can enter, there is no limit to ad content. Should include your
asking or firm price and if the items can be shipped or pickup
only. Including a phone number is good but not required.
6. Once a deal is agreed and an item is sold or no longer available
post a short note with the subject line: SOLD: and a short text
as this will end your receiving additional inquiries.
7. The ECNV list and list owner are not responsible for posts and
make no guarantee of accuracy of any ad content. If you have
a 'good deal' that is satisfying, then post a note as 'feedback'
that recommends a seller or buyer. Non-paying buyers or any
activities that are considered dishonest will result in that person
being removed from the list.
